Udale awarded for having ‘Great Taste’
Last week Udale’s hard work and innovation was recognised by achieving 8 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards 2016. Salt chamber aged Jacobs Ladder, Hogget Rack, Rib Eye Steak, Sirloin Steak and Pork Belly all won awards as did our Smoked Ayrshire Bacon.
Here are just a few of the comments the award winning products received from the Great Taste Judges: –
Salt Chamber Aged Jacobs Ladder ‘The fat has an incredible flavour and the meat is tender and loaded with flavour. Gorgeous.’
Salt Chamber Aged Hogget Rack ‘The texture of the meat is beautifully tender and succulent. The fat is delicious and clean with a slight sweetness. There’s a really good aged flavour and every bit of the cutlet was delicious.’
Salt Chamber Aged Rib Eye Steak ‘Beautiful looking steaks which have browned well and look very consistent. The texture of these steaks is wonderful and melts in the mouth.’
Salt Chamber Aged Sirloin Steak ‘Has a good depth of character, a long complex beef flavour and juicy succulence.’
